Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and support Java-based applications for market connectivity and eTrading platforms
* Work on low-latency, high-throughput systems connecting to external venues, exchanges, and brokers
* Collaborate closely with trading, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver robust connectivity solutions
* Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability
* Troubleshoot production issues and participate in system improvements
* Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and best practices
Key Skills / Qualifications
* 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development within financial services
* Minimum 5 years of experience working on eTrading systems
* At least 3 years of experience in Market Connectivity (exchange connectivity, FIX, gateways, adapters, etc.)
* Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows and market microstructure
* Experience building low-latency, high-availability systems
* Solid experience in Linux/Unix environments
