Setting based in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team!
Working hours: 7.30am-6.00pm, with flexible start times due to a 40-hour workweek and varying shifts.
Salary: £24,960 to £27,040
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Implement the EYFS framework by delivering activities tailored to the individual needs and interests of children within key groups, collaborating effectively with team members.
2. Maintain records of children's development, conduct assessments, and update learning journeys, sharing progress with parents, carers, and other key adults.
3. Follow nursery safeguarding procedures to ensure children's safety and well-being.
4. Support staff and foster a positive team environment.
5. Liaise with and support parents and family members.
6. Participate in out-of-hours activities such as staff meetings, training, parent consultations, and special events.
7. Be flexible in work practices, assisting with tasks like cleaning, toy washing, and preparing snacks/meals as needed.
8. Collaborate with the manager and team to uphold the nursery's philosophy.
9. Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
10. Record accidents, incidents, and other important documents, ensuring proper sign-off and communication with parents.
11. Utilize the nursery's resources effectively, always considering the individual needs of children.
12. Ensure children are collected by known and approved individuals, following proper procedures for safety and efficiency.
13. Respect confidentiality of all received information.
