Eventus Recruitment are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join a Financial Planning business based in Knutsford, Cheshire. This is a permanent, full-time Paraplanner job offering £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, 25 days holiday, flexible start and finish times, 5% pension, and multiple health insurances. The Paraplanner job will be based in the Knutsford office, with occasional travel to other sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Planning professional with strong technical skills to join a well-established and supportive team environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Fully analysing clients’ requirements, developing cash flow models, and accurately recording client data.
* Researching and analysing financial products to meet client objectives.
* Constructing financial planning solutions across investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning, supported by computer models and reports.
* Preparing suitability letters and reports in collaboration with administrators, ensuring compliance and accurate back-office records throughout the advice process.
* Preparing client reviews, updating cash flow models, producing investment performance reviews and supporting reports.
* Attending client meetings alongside the Partner and dealing with general client queries.
* Working with colleagues to prepare applications and provider forms, ensuring clients are kept updated throughout.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of templates, advice notes, regulations, and legislation.
* Handling a wide variety of financial planning cases including EIS, VCTs, DFM replacements, IHT and estate planning, protection policies, and SIPPs.
Person Specification
* Previous paraplanning experience with a strong technical background.
* Minimum Level 4 Diploma PFS qualified.
* Chartered Financial Planner status (or working towards) is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of specialist case types including EIS, VCTs, DFM replacements, IHT and estate planning, protection, and SIPPs.
* Knowledge of major research systems.
* Experience in pensions, investments, protection, and the Pension Transfer market.
* Strong IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office, and familiarity with back-office systems.
* Excellent organisational skills, strong numeracy, and exceptional attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* A proactive, positive, and client-focused approach.
