Opportunity
Our Electrical Engineers apply their expertise to infrastructure projects across the globe. Projects span water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, reservoirs, water distribution, energy (hydro, CHP, waste‑to‑energy, solar PV, hydrogen, wind, gas), HV/LV transmission & distribution, industrial steam generation, chemical handling, food & beverage processing, and more. Clients include water companies, energy generators, infrastructure owners, government agencies, councils, and renewable energy investors.
You will work with a multidisciplinary design team, delivering professional services to clients, collaborating with experts, and growing your skills in pursuit of professional accreditation.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to design, analyse and deliver electrical solutions for infrastructure projects.
* Develop electrical schematics, panels, and detailed drawings using CAD/BIM tools.
* Support cost estimation, feasibility studies and technical reports.
* Assist in commissioning, testing and handover activities.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, Engineering Science, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Engineering, Communications Engineering (2.1 or above).
* Master’s degree in the same fields (2:1 or above) – advantage.
* Integrated Master’s in electrical engineering, renewable engineering or similar – advantage.
* Completed or currently studying an IET‑accredited course.
* Understanding of CAD/BIM and experience on design projects is beneficial.
* Experience or knowledge of coding languages is an advantage.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software, including 3D design and digital automation.
* Enthusiasm for electrical engineering and a solid understanding of the sector.
* Analytical thinking and ability to find efficiencies.
* Proactive and able to work independently.

Start Date and Application
