An exciting opportunity has arisen within our fantastic primary school for an experienced, ambitious, qualified, committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our driven and talented team in the position of class teacher for our Year 5 and 5 vertically grouped class.

We are looking for an outstanding junior practitioner who is a creative and imaginative teacher that would relish the career development opportunities provided from working with proactive staff to further develop our school. You must be able to plan highly effectively to meet the needs of all children. Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of all pupils are essential as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the infant curriculum.

2. is a good primary practitioner with proven ‘good’ teaching and learning with the highest expectations of pupils and themselves
3. is committed to raising standards of achievement
4. demonstrates very high expectations of learning, achievement and behaviours
5. is enthusiastic, imaginative and forward thinking
6. has the ability to inspire, motivate and engage children to achieve and succeed
7. is able to form positive relationships with children, staff, parents and governors
8. possesses excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
9. can lead subject/s (subject/s negotiable) across the school, not for ECTs in their first year
10. Is able to work collaboratively
11. Is willing to work very hard - essential in a small school where there are fewer teachers to share the work load
