About the role
We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare. You’ll have the opportunity to work bank 12‑hour shifts, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Beckly. Beckly is a specialist residential service in Halifax, West Yorkshire, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge. We encourage and enable the individuals we support to lead a full and happy life. We work with them to ensure they have more choice and control in their lives. We find out their strengths, abilities and preferences so that the care provided can be as person‑centred and meaningful to each individual as possible.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
* Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
* Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
* Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
* Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs
* Safeguard
* Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
