An independent co-educational day school in Godalming, Surrey, catering for 300 students and teachers. Offers breakfast, lunch, snacks, and after-school clubs, with good hospitality facilities and free on-site parking.

Role Overview
Seeking a creative and effective Senior Sous Chef to join a prestigious location in Godalming.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare food service areas for daily meals.
* Ensure prompt, high-standard meal service.
* Maintain preparation and presentation standards.
* Handle food, beverage, and equipment setup, service, and cleanup.
* Follow hygiene and safety practices.
* Restock and replenish supplies during service.
* Communicate with front of house about stock and delays.
* Perform cleaning and hygiene duties.
* Serve customers and visitors according to standards.
* Manage waste and recycling appropriately.
* Assist with orders and stock management.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas.
* Attend meetings and training as needed.
General Responsibilities
* Attend staff meetings.
* Adhere to policies and legislation.
* Wear neat, clean uniform and maintain personal presentation.
* Conduct food temperature checks.
* Respond to management requests.
* Provide cover during absences.
* Report hazards and promote safety.
Skills and Attributes
* Teamwork, communication, initiative, hygiene, and presentation skills.
* Flexibility and reliability.
* Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
* Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items.
* Good verbal and written English skills.
* Experience in customer service or food prep preferred.
