Our client is seeking a Fertiliser Manager to oversee fertiliser procurement, pricing, logistics, and seasonal supply planning within a merchanting environment. The role involves managing supplier relationships, monitoring market movements, controlling stock exposure, and coordinating delivery logistics to ensure customers are supplied efficiently during peak periods. This is a commercially exposed role where judgement, timing, and risk management are critical.
Responsibilities
* Oversee fertiliser procurement, pricing, logistics, and seasonal supply planning within a merchanting environment.
* Manage supplier relationships, monitor market movements, control stock exposure, and coordinate delivery logistics to ensure customers are supplied efficiently during peak periods.
* Work in a commercially exposed role where judgement, timing, and risk management are critical.
Qualifications
* Experience in fertiliser, commodities, or agricultural supply chains
* Strong understanding of seasonality, logistics, and price volatility
* Commercially astute with good risk and stock awareness
* Decisive, organised, and comfortable working under pressure
