Have you ever wanted to be right at the center of the action? At the very heart of something new and exciting? As we continue to evolve our electric vehicle charging proposition into being the UK’s leading provider of charging solutions to UK businesses, we are now looking for an EV Business Development Manager to support our rapid ascent in the marketplace.
This is a really exciting time to join our UK EV team as we are investing significantly to ensure we are ready to continue our ongoing success and growth. This role is focused on supporting UK business specifically.
You will work with both new and existing customers operating medium to large fleets, supporting their transition to EV by providing them with our EV charging solutions that simplify how fleets charge at home & on the road.
This is a hybrid role working out of our offices in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, remote in addition to facilitating customer visits & attending trade shows and industry events.
You will report to the EV Sales Manager
About You:
You are most likely working in sales already. You may even have experience in the EV space, it would be desirable but it’s not a showstopper. Your flair to make us and you successful will shine through.
Due to the nature of the EV solution, experience in selling SaaS solutions would also be advantageous as would experience in a fleet, telematics or fuel role given the customers you will be speaking with and the solutions you will be selling.
What you'll be doing:
* Selling our EV solutions into new & existing customers.
* Developing a robust pipeline of prospective EV customers who are on a journey to electrify their fleet.
* Remain close to the market, as well as customer needs, to feed back into product teams. You will play an integral part of shaping our product roadmap, allowing us to keep pace with a fast-evolving market and industry.
What we're looking for:
* Experience in a face-to-face sales / account management environment.
* Experience in EV, including knowledge of the home charging landscape, costs and benefits of introducing EVs into a fleet and general EV knowledge.
* Experience in sales (New or X-sell)
* Experience working in a B2B company
* Strong ability to form and maintain relationships
* An ability to respond to complicated briefs from customers or business leaders, make decisions and communicate an appropriate strategy/solution
