Tinhay Building Supplies Ltd is a successful independent builders merchant operating from three branches in West Devon and East Cornwall.
We are looking for a yard person to work at our Tavistock branch.
Your role will include serving customers in the yard, helping to load/unload lorries and using the telehandler (experience preferred but training can be provided). It may also involve some local delivery work so a full clean driving licence is required.
This is a physically demanding role and so you will need to be fit, reliable and not afraid of hard work.
This is a very busy yard so you will need to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
You may be needed to work at other branches from time to time so your own transport would be necessary.
Hours of work am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday, and be available to work on alternate Saturday mornings as required.
