Job Overview
Our Client are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations and reporting directly to the Operations Director. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in warehouse management and logistics, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires effective team management skills, as well as a solid understanding of materials handling, shipping and receiving, and warehouse management systems.
General Duties:
• Supervision of the Warehouse Team (4 personnel) and as such are responsible for the day-to-day workflow and output of the team.
• Input into and adhere to Client service and delivery performance expectations so that service meets or exceeds market/customer expectations, using measurable KPIs.
• Input into and practical supervision of Client's Order-To-Shipment process; includes assembly, picking, packing and despatch of customer orders from Client’s warehouse.
• Warehouse supervision and stock control in collaboration with the Operations Manager to meet customer orders as well as stock levels in the UK warehouse. This includes alerting the Operations Manager to unexpected demand / overstock or quality issues as appropriate.
• Supervision of all incoming goods (and associated processes) including customer returns ensuring that any warranty claims and any commercially agreed stock returns are managed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Input into continuous improvement, including quality management, systems, processes, and procedures.
• Maintenance of all appropriate supporting material needed for the team to perform their duties.
• Effectively liaise with other Client departments and teams using a collaborative approach with open and honest two-way communication.
Experience and Skills

• Enthusiastic with a collaborative work approach
• Supervision experience, leading a small team, with the ability to work both on their own and as a member of a team.
• Good organisational skills.
• Experience understanding and working with operational KPIs
• Ideally hold a full UK drivers licence.
• Articulated Forklift licence will be required. Training and certification will be given if needed.
* 40 hrs per week (Monday - Friday)
* Core hours: 07:30 - 16:30
