Electrician – Oakham

Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting Electrician for a permanent role This role will be working within social housing properties covering the LE15 area, including Oakham and surrounding parts of Leicestershire. While the main office base is Rushden, the service area spans Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Peterborough and St Neots, so regular travel is essential.
Our client is a well-established Social Housing Contractor and due to continued growth, is expanding its electrical team. The business has continued to flourish over recent years and this new role is a great chance to be part of its exciting future.
All candidates must have a Full Driving Licence and relevant qualifications and/or experience.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems in line with current IET Wiring Regulations
* Inspecting, testing and certifying electrical installations, completing Electrical Certificates and Electrical Condition Reports accurately
* Carrying out EICRs and associated remedial works
* Undertaking responsive and reactive maintenance tasks to specification
* Liaising with supervisors when additional trade support is required
* Working collaboratively with other trades to complete jobs efficiently
* Accurately completing job records, worksheets and materials usage
* Managing workload effectively to meet productivity and time targets
* Delivering a professional and courteous service to tenants and clients
Essential Requirements:
* C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 (2356) with relevant technical certificates
* City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications:
* Testing & Inspecting (C&G 2377)
* Part P
* Unvented Hot Water Certificate
* Water Regulations Certificate
* JIBP card with current H&S test
* PAT Testing certification

Working hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 8:00am–4:30pm
* Participation in a well-paid on-call rota approximately once every 6–8 weeks.
Pay: £39,500 + 5% bonus
