MB3 (£51,356 - £58,165) | 37 hours, Full‑time | Permanent | Hybrid: Stopford House and some home working where this meets the needs of the team.

Your Role
We are looking for driven, dedicated, and caring children’s social workers to support our families in Stockport. As a Team Leader you will develop and support social workers across all levels of intervention, seeing the outcomes of the hard work you support.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Supporting and nurturing social workers to deliver outstanding practice for children and families.
* Supervising teams of six social workers and two senior practitioners across both duty and longer‑term work.
* Driving forward effective practice and enabling team members to develop their careers.
* Working within the organisational learning culture to maintain reflective and competent practice.
About You

* Have experience working across both duty and locality systems.
* Have participated in private and public court proceedings, including pre‑proceedings processes.
* Be passionate about making a difference and helping children reach their full potential.
* Be a strong team player, sharing knowledge and continuing to learn.
