Founded in 1850 under the name J.A Pattinson, then R.G Pattinson from 1936 and from 1973 South Cumbria Construction Ltd we are a family-run Windermere based construction company with over 175 years of experience delivering traditional craftsmanship, quality workmanship, and dependable project delivery across the Cumbria area.

Painter & Decorator
As a well-established construction company in the Windermere area an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable painter & decorator to join our team.
The position requires taking on everything from painting doors and windows to full re-decoration of houses, both internal and external works. You will work both independently and as part of a team and complete works to a high-quality finish.
Duties
* Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating (interior & exterior)
* Prepare surfaces to a high standard (sanding, filling, priming)
* Apply paints, varnishes, and wallpapers with precision
* Deliver high-quality finishes to meet client expectations
Requirements
* Proven experience as a painter & decorator
* Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full clean UK driving licence (with no bans within the last 10 years) is essential as use of a company van is required.
* You must be able to prove your eligibility to work in the UK

Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday between 8:00am – 4:30pm
A valid CSCS card is preferred but not essential.
