We are seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Accountant to join our growing accountancy firm in Warwickshire. The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a broad client base. You will take ownership of client relationships, review the work of junior team members, and provide valuable financial and tax guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review statutory accounts for a range of clients.
Prepare medium-sized company accounts and consolidated group accounts.
Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support.
Advise clients on Corporation Tax, Personal Tax, and related compliance matters.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
Assist clients with accounting software systems and cloud accounting solutions.
Present financial information and recommendations clearly and confidently.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to client businesses.
Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
About You
Essential Requirements
ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
Experience reviewing and supervising the work of others.
Strong experience preparing medium-sized company accounts and consolidated group accounts.
Solid understanding of Corporation Tax, Personal Tax, and other key tax matters.
Strong knowledge of accounting software systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
