NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a range of clinical and non‑clinical professions. We provide acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care to a population of over 1.15 million, plus a wider regional population of 2.2 million.
Purpose of the role
This permanent post, with a shift pattern still to be confirmed, involves performing system and interface testing for various applications within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Responsibilities
* Test applications, deriving test cases and informing a test approach.
* Engage closely with project and support teams as well as service users to interpret business needs.
* Apply Agile practices, including Azure DevOps and JIRA, in line with the organization’s preferred approach.
* Use a methodical approach to support software used within NHSGGC.
Qualifications
* Relevant diploma, degree or equivalent practical workplace experience in testing.
* Experience using or supporting software in use at NHSGGC.
* Demonstrated methodical approach and good service knowledge.
Interview Process
Interviews are expected to be conducted within a fortnight of the closing date.
