Overview
Children's Residential Support Worker role based in Uttoxeter. Full-time hours: 2 days on, 4 days off (with a sleep night). We are a 365 day a year service with rotas issued in advance. Pay rate: GBP13.85 to GBP14.15 per hour for day shifts (depending on qualification), GBP60 per sleep night (approx. GBP33,059 to GBP33,682 per annum). Opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate.

The role is to promote independence and life skills, ensuring safety and wellbeing underpins every decision. You will help create an environment for our young people to flourish with the support of an expert manager and experienced team.

* Contribute to creating a nurturing environment in a small group home.
* Work as part of a team to support two young people with learning difficulties.

Essential requirements
* A Full driving licence issued in the UK.
* Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
* Prior experience working with children with learning difficulties (desirable).
* Values aligned with Esland’s, including a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare.
* Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above.
* Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).
