Role

We are looking to recruit a Facilities and Cleaning Officer to join our team at Turner Free School. The successful candidate will be responsible for locking the school and making all safety checks at the end of the day. Duties will include ad-hoc repairs to the school building and grounds. Inspecting and patrolling the school building and grounds as well as carrying out cleaning duties. This will involve mopping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning corridors, toilet areas and all related duties. You will also be required to move furniture and use heavy duty cleaning equipment. You must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team. Previous industrial cleaning essential.


Qualifications and experience

* Experience of facilities and operational functions (desirable).
* Experience of working with, or willing to be trained in the use of Computer Assisted Facilities Management Software (CAPM) (Essential).
* Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable).
* Own Transport (Desirable).
* Be reliable and trustworthy.

Hours: 22.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday 17:00 - 21:30 Year Round. Start Date - ASAP. We reserve the right to close the advert early if a suitable candidate is found.
