Salary: £45,000 base + £15,000 commission (OTE £60,000)

As part of our continued expansion, we’re seeking a motivated and commercially astute Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This is a pivotal role that will see you connecting with senior decision-makers, creating new opportunities, and contributing directly to the firm’s growth.
The Role
As the first point of contact for prospective clients, you’ll play a vital part in building and qualifying a strong pipeline of opportunities for our senior sales team. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Scheduling high-quality meetings with senior executives and governance leaders.
* Clean handover of opportunity and meeting to Senior Sales Team, with scope of brief.
* Proactively identifying, researching, then outbound communicate to potential new clients.
* Conducting intelligent, value-led outreach via telephone, email, and LinkedIn.
* Qualifying leads to ensure strong commercial fit and opportunity quality.
* Act as an ambassador for Beyond Governance to gain attention of ICP.
* Provide market feedback, insights, and intelligence to sales and marketing.
* Representing Beyond Governance at in-person industry events and roundtables.
* Maintaining accurate records and activity within our CRM system.

* Consistently generating a high-quality flow of qualified opportunities.
* Building rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders and influencers.
* Demonstrating persistence and professionalism across outreach channels.
* Regularly engaging with key personas, General Counsel, Company Secretaries, C-suite & Chairs.
* Contributing to the continued commercial success of a fast-growing consultancy.
* Meeting and exceeding agreed activity and meeting targets.
* Raising awareness of Beyond Governance’s full portfolio of advisory services.
* Expand client footprint within regulated environments.
About You
We’re looking for a proactive, professional, and results-oriented individual who thrives in a consultative sales environment. You’ll ideally bring:
* 3–4 years’ experience in outbound business development or lead generation.
* Proven ability to engage senior decision-makers through cold calling and multi-channel outreach.
* Target driven, self starter who can work autonomously to achieve goals.
* Strong communication skills, with confidence and gravitas when speaking to executives.
* A resilient, self-motivated, and dynamic approach to achieving targets.
* Experience of working remotely and managing your own productivity.
* Familiarity with sales enablement tools, data enrichment services, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
* The ability to research and build targeted prospect lists for campaigns.
