Reporting to the Colleague Experience Manager. The Management and Development Specialist will be responsible for enhancing the skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of managers and colleagues across the Society.
The role also involves designing, implementing, and overseeing programs and initiatives aimed at developing leadership capabilities.
What the role will look like:
* Conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNAs) to identify skill gaps and developmental needs - Including analysing performance reviews, feedback, and organisational goals etc.
* Creating and designing training programs tailored to the needs of the workforce. These programs might cover leadership development, team building, change management, strategic planning, and more.
* Conducting training sessions, workshops, and learning interventions to create an interactive learning environment guided by the 70:20:10 approach
* Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and post training evaluations.
* Using feedback to continuously improve programs and ensure they meet organisational objectives.
* Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices in management, and adult learning methodologies to incorporate the latest advancements into training programs.
* Instrumental in managing organisational changes by preparing managers to handle transitions, new responsibilities, or shifts in Society strategies.
* Using data analytics to track and measure the impact of development initiatives on key performance indicators and overall organisational success
What you will bring to the role:
* Must have previous experience in a Management/Leadership Development Training role within a commercial environment.
* Extensive experience in training design including a variety of learning solutions
* A L&D, or CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable
* Experience of influencing at senior levels on introducing and driving new development initiatives across the organisation.
* Ability to gain credibility amongst Executive and Senior Managers.
* Excellent delivery and presentation skills required, with the confidence to deliver to Senior Managers.
* Key planning, project management, problem solving and analytical skills.
* An ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across the Society.
* Experience in the use of psychometric tools for personal development would be beneficial.
