The Role
* Retail store daily operations and workshops.
* Contribute to enhancing customer experience, including in-store service and developing online consumer engagement.
* Visual merchandising and product presentation, ensuring the store and online platforms are visually appealing.
* Create digital content for social media platforms and our online store.
* Assist and plan digital and magazine marketing campaigns to drive sales and engagement.
* Collaborate with the team to brainstorm ideas and implement initiatives.
* Assist in the running of craft and upcycling workshops both instore and offsite.
* Help run occasional popups and craft fairs.
* This role will involve some Saturday working.
* Processing, packing and dispatch of online orders.
Preferred Candidate Background
* Interest in furniture upcycling, interiors, colour trends & craft.
* Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook and TikTok – creating stories, reels, videos and posts.
* Competent with Excel, Word email etc.
* Photoshop, Canva or other editing tools.
* Experience in retail operations or e-commerce is a plus.
* Highly organised with great attention to visual detail.
* Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team or on their own initiative.
* Excellent communication skills, friendly and approachable.
* Knowledge of Wordpress, WooCommerce and SEO.
