Job Description
Easterseals NH is looking for a Direct Support Associate (DSA) to join our Community Based Services team! This program supports individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs living within our residential homes.
Schedule
Full-time 40 hours a week 1st and 2nd shift; Must be willing to work 1 weekend shift per week. We offer various scheduling options. Let us know what works best for you!
Pay
$22.62/hour. Opportunity to attend paid internal NADSP training to become a certified Direct Support Professional which leads to career advancement and pay increases.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administration
* Assisting with lifting, transferring, and mobility support
* Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
* Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
* Follow each individuals care plan
* All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
* Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet
* Other duties as needed or assigned
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Experience providing direct support or direct care (preferred)
* Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
