An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Breast Screening team at King's Mill Hospital. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to support the delivery of a high‑quality clerical service within the NHS Breast Screening Programme.

As a key member of our administrative team, you will help ensure the smooth running of the Breast Screening service. Your responsibilities will include:

* Handling telephone enquiries with professionalism and empathy
* Booking, changing, and cancelling patient appointments
* Preparing clinics and supporting day‑to‑day service operations
* Typing and sending result letters
* Carrying out a range of general clerical duties

This is a part‑time position, offering a great opportunity to balance work with other commitments while contributing to an essential patient service.

Person Specification


Experience

* Previous clerical experience
* Previous customer care experience


Contractual

* Regular attendance and willingness to work flexible hours as necessary


Further Training

* Knowledge and use of NBSS, CRIS and BS Select


Knowledge

* Computer literate with significant experience of using a keyboard
* Knowledge of NBSS, CRIS, BS Select, Medway PAS, and NHS in general


Qualifications

* Good general education with GCSE English at Grade C or above
