Our client is a reputable hotel in South Yorkshire, seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to lead their housekeeping team.
They are looking for someone with a true passion for delivering exceptional quality, ensuring every room reflects the hotels commitment to detail and comfort.
As Head Housekeeper, youll be responsible for leading a team to consistently uphold impeccable standards, driving excellence through strong leadership and an unwavering focus on the guest experience. The ideal candidate will not only manage the team but also inspire them to create memorable moments that elevate every stay. Your leadership will be key in maintaining the hotels reputation and ensuring every guest feels genuinely valued.
This role is 40 hours per week, typically 8:30am-4:30pm.
Please note: Due to the location of the hotel, access to your own transport will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and inspect all guest rooms and areas to ensure high cleanliness standards
Allocate cleaning areas daily and manage linen procedures and stocktakes
Ensure correct use of cleaning agents and assist with periodic cleaning
Adhere to security procedures and report faults to Maintenance
Ensure safe use of equipment and observe safe and hygienic working practices
Train team members to deliver exceptional cleanliness standards.
Who Theyre Looking For:
At least 2 years of hotel experience as a Housekeeping Manager
Ability to effectively motivate others and strong team leadership skills
Well-organised, self-motivated and results-driven
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Competent in Microsoft Office applications
