Job Description
Mō te tūnga | About the role
Taranaki Regional Council is on a digital transformation journey, delivering innovative technology solutions that make a real difference for our people, community, and partners. As an Intermediate Project Manager in our Digital Project Management Office, you’ll play a key role in leading and delivering a variety of digital projects that align with our strategic goals.
You’ll be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to delivery and adoption—ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. This includes planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and working closely with internal teams and external vendors. You’ll be supported by a collaborative and purpose-driven team that values growth, trust, and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across diverse teams, thrives in a dynmic environment, and is passionate about using technology as an enabler for positive change. You’ll be a strong leader. Your skillsets will include strong communication and organisational skills, providing high visibility around your project at all times and have a people-centred approach, and a desire to contribute to meaningful outcomes for the Taranaki region.

The successful candidate will be working predominately onsite at the Taranaki Regional Council with a healthy work from home balance.
The starting remuneration range for this role is $91,455 - $107,594 per annum (including KiwiSaver).
