Finance Manager and Operations Manager A growing Northamptonshire B Corp and Social Enterprise company is seeking an ambitious finance and operations manager with a finance background to support them during a period of rapid growth and group re-structure. The role would suit someone that is interested in contributing to the long-term growth and development of a company, and who is people focused but with an interest in system improvements with the aims of continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices. Reporting directly to the board of directors, they will be responsible for providing meaningful financial information to assist in driving the business forward during this period of change. Key Responsibilities: Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices, overseeing all processing throughout the organisation. Prepare and presenting periodic financial management reporting to the board of directors and other key SLT members which will provide analysis of monthly and quarterly results. Lead on budgeting and forecasting processes. Review financial reports and identify opportunities to reduce costs. Responsible for all communication with external financial stakeholders, such as; Suppliers, Customers, Accountants, HMRC and other financial institutes. Monitor financial details to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Supervise employees responsible for financial reporting and budgeting. Contribute and support the SLT with HR duties. Key Skills Required: Previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to demonstrate a contribution to business growth planning. Hold a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), or be part-qualified with appropriate experience. Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems. Leadership experience in finance or accounting teams, with knowledge of HR requirements. Personal Skills required: A creative thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
