Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to materials handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
* Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
* Perform picking & packing duties to prepare orders for shipment.
* Load & unload goods from lorries, ensuring accuracy in delivery and receipt of items.
* Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including verifying shipments against packing lists.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
* Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.
* Apply mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of warehouse equipment as needed.
Requirements
* Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety protocols.
* Experience with stocking procedures and inventory control systems.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the role.
* Knowledge of SAP or similar warehouse management software is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
