Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for an exciting and challenging role? Would you like to work with a varied portfolio of clients based around the UK?
Aon is recruiting for a Client Service Advisor (Account Handler) to support the Corporate Insurance team based in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will work with our team of Client Managers handling a diverse portfolio of large mid-market corporate clients across the UK. This role offers opportunities to nurture existing client relationships and support new client acquisition.
This position supports our Aberdeen office but offers flexibility to work virtually or from any Aon office in Scotland, with occasional visits to Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide day-to-day service to clients, ensuring high-quality support aligned with client service tools.
2. Understand client business and insurance needs, contributing to Service Plan development.
3. Attend client meetings, including pre-renewal and renewal discussions, and insurer surveys.
4. Identify improvements in client risk and insurance programs, making recommendations and implementing changes.
5. Negotiate renewal terms, mid-term adjustments, and cover extensions with insurers.
6. Prepare marketing presentations and cover comparisons in collaboration with the Broking Manager.
7. Build and maintain effective relationships with insurers, differentiating through industry knowledge.
8. Maintain ongoing communication with clients and support in shaping solutions using Aon’s product knowledge.
9. Represent Aon professionally, demonstrate understanding of corporate objectives, and pursue personal development.
10. Adhere to Aon UK policies and participate in risk management activities.

Required Skills and Experience
* Experience in core commercial risk lines, preferably within the Energy Sector.
* Strong commercial understanding of business drivers, market forces, and risks.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Client-focused with a consultative approach and commitment to service excellence.
