Promotions Supply PlannerWe are seeking a Promotions Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will manage the complete end-to-end planning and flow of stock for promotional activities, ensuring efficient distribution to branches and customers within agreed deadlines.Day-to-day of the role:
* Ensure maximum availability of stock at the start and during all event activities.
* Adhere to critical timescales and escalate issues appropriately.
* Manage the flow of volume from our Distribution Centres to branches and customers.
* Ensure allocations are loaded and released accurately.
* Conduct root cause analysis for late stock availability and communicate key issues clearly.
* Analyse data to produce reports and provide recommendations based on findings.
* Review and respond to queries and requests related to stock and promotions.
* Support seasonal events and activities, including the clearance of ex-promotion and seasonal lines.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management of trading activities.
* Adhere to GSCOP timelines and maintain compliance with our Business Code of Conduct.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Proven experience working with large data sets.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
* Keen attention to detail with experience in writing reports and interpreting data.
* Flexible work approach and quick learning ability for new technical skills.
* Experience in the FMCG sector is ideal but not essential.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
