School of Sexuality Education is a charity seeking a volunteer to create and manage our social media content. Volunteers will craft engaging posts to raise awareness of our work and foster follower engagement.
What difference will you make?
As a volunteer, you will help raise awareness about our initiatives and challenge myths and taboos around sex, relationships, bodies, and health. Improving our social media engagement will enable us to reach new stakeholders, including teachers, donors, and funders.
What are we looking for?
* Interest in education, especially the impact of inclusive Relationships and Sex Education.
* Understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
* Experience with social media strategies and analytics tools.
* Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
* Experience using graphic design tools like Canva.
* Ability to develop content aligned with the charity's values.
* Experience planning social media content calendars.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
What will you be doing?
* Review current social media accounts and suggest improvements.
* Create a social media plan (calendar) including posts and campaigns.
* Regularly post and manage content on our platforms.
* Measure the success of posts and campaigns.
* Create graphics or coordinate with illustrators for new images.
* Engage with followers to foster interaction.
* Ensure inclusive messaging in all content by collaborating with staff.
* Report progress to the Senior Leadership Team.
Commitment: 1-2 hours per week.
