Job Description
A growing UK-based additive manufacturing specialist is seeking a Metal AM Engineer with experience in build preparation. Operating at the forefront of metal 3D printing, the company delivers precision-engineered components to a range of high-performance industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and optimise build files using industry-standard AM software.
2. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure successful print setups.
3. Conduct DfAM reviews to enhance part manufacturability.
4. Support build strategy development and parameter optimisation.
5. Ensure smooth transition from digital models to physical builds.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in metal AM, ideally with LPBF technologies.
* Proficient in tools such as Magics, Netfabb, or similar.
* Strong understanding of build preparation and part fabrication.
* Ability to interpret CAD models and technical drawings.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
