We are looking for twofull-time qualified Clinical Photographers to cover maternity leave for 12months
Qualifications:
Asa Qualified Clinical Photographer you will need:
A Certificate in ClinicalPhotography (Graduate or Postgraduate) or BSc in Clinical Photography/MedicalIllustration Photography.
JobPurpose:
Provide clinical photography andophthalmic imaging for diagnostics.
Deliver scientific and non-clinicalphotography services, including video.
Support patient care by creatinghigh-quality visual records for diagnosis, treatment planning, andmonitoring.
Contribute to patient information,medical education and research through the production of detailed andaccurate images and video.
Undertake public relations andcommunication assignments, capturing images and video that highlight theTrust's work and achievements.

Main duties of the job
KeyResponsibilities:
Conduct clinical recordings invarious settings, including studio, wards, operating theatres and post-mortemrooms.
Perform ophthalmic imaging,including fluorescein angiography.
Manage and edit images and videoselectronically.
Undertake clinical and non-clinicalphotographic and video assignments.
Support and train junior staff.
Stay updated with trends inscientific photography and related computer skills.
Work across multiple sites,sometimes in challenging conditions.
Physical and mental effortrequired, including carrying equipment and prolonged computer use.
Exposure to distressing situationsand clinical environments.

Qualifications
* Certificate in Clinical Photography (Graduate or Post Graduate) Or BSc Clinical Photography/Medical Illustration photography.
* Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) registered
Experience
* Experience of clinical & non-clinical photography.
* A portfolio of work demonstrating a range of clinical & non-clinical photographic skills.
* Experience of using general WP and Adobe Photoshop.
* Operation of digital still & video equipment.
* Techniques of Ophthalmic Photography.
* Lighting & positioning patients in a studio environment for clinical photography.
* Knowledge of the special issues of clinical photography on the ward & in theatre.
* Professional knowledge over the whole range of medical illustration disciplines acquired through degree & experience.
* Underpinning photographic theory.
