Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Contract type: Fixed-term contract for up to 12 months (maternity leave cover)
Hours: 30 - 37.5 hours per week, flexible hours and days
Location: Remote working with up to 2 visits per month to our Head Office in Cannock
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 depending on skills and experience
Driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team!

What you'll do:
* Support with various accounts transactional processes, including consolidated billing
* Perform bank and cash account reconciliations
* Handle intercompany journal entries for manual invoices
* Manage prepayments and accruals, including cash transactions
* Maintain HESL fixed assets and central costs accruals
* Conduct rent reviews and review repairs and maintenance expenses (Opex/Capex)
* Post assets & depreciation entries
* Process bank payments
* Assist the finance team with ad hoc duties
What we're looking for:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
* Minimum 2 months experience as an accounts assistant
* AAT full or part qualification
* Knowledge of SAGE Intacct preferred
