Domiciliary Care Workers : Driver/Non drivers
Location: Southport, Merseyside
Salary: up to A GBP 13.20 per hour

The Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high:quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to improve the wellbeing of others and possess relevant experience in senior care, dementia care, or hospice care. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in peoples lives through personalised care and support.
Driver Role : applicants must have a valid driving licence and access to their own car.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Support with medication administration in accordance with prescribed guidelines
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
* Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimers or dementia
* Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
* Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
* Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance clients quality of life
Qualifications
* Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is desirable
* Experience with dementia, Alzheimers, hospice, or senior care is advantageous
* Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs, training provided
* Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanour
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
