Mechanical Estimator – Building Services (MEP) Leeds Competitive Salary Car Allowance & Package A well-established, medium-sized MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join its Leeds office. This role sits within a dedicated pre-construction team pricing significant building services schemes across Yorkshire and the North East. The Role You will take full responsibility for mechanical estimating on a range of large-scale projects including commercial, healthcare, education and industrial developments. Key responsibilities: * Preparing detailed mechanical tenders from first principles * Full take-offs from drawings and specifications * Pricing HVAC, pipework, plant rooms and associated mechanical systems * Managing supplier and subcontractor enquiries * Risk analysis and value engineering input * Supporting tender adjudications and client presentations * Ensuring smooth commercial handover to delivery teams Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within an MEP / building services contractor * Strong technical understanding of HVAC and mechanical services * Experience pricing medium to large-scale projects * Able to work independently and manage multiple tenders * Commercially aware and deadline-driven This is a pure estimating role within a busy and structured pre-construction function
