Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating a vibrant atmosphere. This role requires excellent leadership skills, as you will be responsible for managing a team and ensuring high standards of food and beverage service.
Duties
* Supervise and train bar staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
* Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock control.
* Develop and implement creative drink menus and specials to attract customers.
* Monitor bar operations to maintain quality standards in food production and service.
* Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in line with health and safety standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel environments is advantageous.
* A background in serving or barista roles is beneficial for understanding customer needs.
* Exceptional communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding hospitality experiences.
