The purpose of the Depot Transport Manager (DTM) is to deliver the transport operation plan for the Depot, whilst developing a high performing team of Drivers. As a key name on the depot O License, you will manage the safety of the operation, people, the legal & regulatory compliance of the transport operation with policy and process excellence for all vehicles relating to the Depot.
The Depot Transport Manager will work in partnership with all Depot management and colleagues, to ensure the transport operation achieves people, service, cost and quality performance targets.

1. Maintain budgeted costs and planning the fleet to the forecasted volumes. Control driver costs and sustain above target levels of service and quality by ensuring all vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard through consistent audits and compliance checks.
