GSL Education are seeking an experienced History Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S35), delivering lessons that develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for understanding history. In this role, the History Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, encouraging discussion, enquiry, and reflection while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver well-structured History lessons in line with the curriculum Encourage analytical thinking, source evaluation, and discussion Support students in developing historical understanding and perspective Maintain positive behaviour and an engaging classroom atmosphere Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as History Teacher Candidate Profile: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience teaching History in a school setting Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) If you are a motivated History Teacher ready to inspire learners in Sheffield and make a lasting impact, we welcome your application.
