Experience of dealing with patients from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures will be needed along with excellent communication and computer skills. We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Coordinator/Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team. You will also need to be flexible, highly motivated and be committed to tackling health inequality.
Bevan Community Benefit Society provide sensitive and responsive Primary Care services for people who are homeless or living in temporary unstable accommodation, those who have come to Leeds and Bradford as asylum seekers and refugees, and other groups who find it difficult to access health care.

GCSE, O Level or equivalent in English & Maths Level C or above
Willing to undertake further training and development
Practice receptionist (e.g.European Computer Driving License (ECDL), ELITE or equivalent IT qualification
Previous clerical/administrative experience in Primary Care
Experience of GP Practice clinical software particularly TPP System 1
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills on the telephone and face to face
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Understanding of Data Protection and Information Governance principles
Able to provide cover for annual or sick leave on a rota basis, occasionally at short notice
Positive and flexible approach to working arrangements
