CMA is excited to be partnering with a well-known brand in their search for someone to join their Accounts Payable team, due to a recent acquisition. You will be joining their small, friendly AP team to assist with invoicing and reconciliation. Must be available on short notice. What will the Accounts Payable Assistant role involve? Support the full Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to UK and European suppliers Process, code, and reconcile invoices in line with global policies and internal controls Set up and maintain supplier records, including new accounts and bank detail changes Prepare weekly payment runs and assist with internal/external audits Liaise with vendors, banks, and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment queries promptly Ensure compliance with VAT requirements and internal control guidelines Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Payable Assistant vacancy: 2 years of experience in accounts payables Ability to manage deadlines effectively, prioritise work tasks, and handle a dynamic work environment Experience understanding VAT queries Excellent communication skills Strong IT skills, exposure to a P2P system, with any experience of Basware particularly welcomed ·Additional benefits and information for the role of Accounts Payable Assistant: 5% employee 3% company pension holiday pay possible permanent opportunity CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
