Cammach are currently recruiting a Project Officer on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. The role will be on a 3-month contract and offers a hybrid working arrangement.


ROLE

* The project officer, Business Development, will lead the design and development of a business relationship offering, including the processes, tools, and value proposition that support engagement with employers and strategic partners.
* The role will focus on creating a clear framework for relationship management, ensuring that the organisation provides a consistent, high-value experience to businesses and stakeholders. This includes defining engagement models, establishing processes, and supporting the team to implement effective relationship management practices.
* In addition, the postholder will contribute to the organisation’s marketing and communications activity, ensuring that business engagement, offers, and successes are clearly articulated to employers and partners. This includes supporting the development of marketing materials, capturing case studies, and helping promote the organisation’s programmes and services.
* The postholder will work collaboratively with internal teams, regional partners, and employers to ensure the organisation’s business engagement approach supports strategic priorities, enhances visibility, and delivers measurable impact.


Responsibilities

* Lead the design and development of a business relationship management offering for employers and partners.
* Define the value proposition for engaging with the organisation and ensure it aligns with strategic priorities.
* Develop a structured engagement framework that outlines how businesses interact with programmes, projects, and services.
* Design and document standardised processes for employer engagement, relationship management, and partnership development.
* Develop tools, templates, and guidance to support consistent delivery across the team.
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness in business engagement.
* Engage with employers, industry partners, and key stakeholders as appropriate.
* Support internal teams in strengthening employer and stakeholder engagement.
* Monitor progress against project milestones and report on outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure implementation.
* Work closely with programme leads, operational teams, and senior management to embed the relationship management approach across the organisation and embed best practice.
* Contribute to organisational initiatives and cross-team projects.
* Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of the relationship management approach.
* Support marketing and communications activity including creating marketing materials and contributing to promotional campaigns.
* Gather and develop employer case studies, success stories, and content that strengthens visibility and demonstrates impact.


Requirements

* Demonstrate strong project management and organisational skills.
* Have experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
* Be able to design and implement processes and frameworks.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Be proactive, motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Be capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering outcomes within agreed timelines.
