Job Title: Maths Teacher
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Location: New Barn School - River View, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 2PS
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Summary and Duties
As a Maths Teacher at New Barn School, you will deliver engaging educational programs tailored to each pupil to ensure positive results. The role involves leading and coordinating flexible, person-centred study programs for individuals and groups, demonstrating a practical, hands-on teaching approach, and going above and beyond for the young people supported.
Duties Will Include:
* Teaching a varied range of subjects
* Preparing, planning, and assessing teaching sessions, keeping up with curriculum developments
* Writing and implementing individual education plans, assessing educational attainment, and setting challenging yet achievable targets
* Building relationships with pupils to encourage their interest and participation in education
* Creating a stimulating and purposeful environment for all pupils to promote learning outside formal classroom settings
Key Skills Required:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching a range of subjects at Primary Level, delivering at least a good or outstanding level
* Knowledge of current education issues, practice, process, and curriculum
* Experience working within an SEN setting, supporting pupils with challenging behaviour (SEMH/EBD)
