Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting for a Multidrop Van Drivers for our companies within UB postcode areas ( Southall / Hayes / West Drayton etc)
ALL ROLES ARE ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS – SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED
PAYE between £13.75 and £16.55 per hour (including holiday pay)

Driver Hire Uxbridge supply 3.5t drivers to a multitude of Companies, this includes; Car/Van hire, Catering equipment hire, Builders Merchants, Tool hire equipment, Industrial printers/scanners and multi drop deliveries in and around the M25 and Central London (up to 20-30 drops only)
Shifts are mainly during the week, Day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
Start times can vary between 5:30 and 8am
Duties expected of a Van Driver:
5. Multi-drop deliveries of high-end products
6. Collecting products from suppliers
7. Preparing customer orders prior to dispatch and loading orders onto vehicles
8. Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
9. Some companies require constant heaving lifting for deliveries/collections! (lifting heavy items for a distant and up/down stairs)
10. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels
11. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
12. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Rates of pay for a Van Driver:
13. We pay for a minimum of 8 hours a day (breaks are not paid)
14. Overtime is paid after 9 hours
15. PAYE between £13.75 and £16.55 per hour (including holiday pay)
Requirements of a Van Driver include:
16. Valid UK CAT B licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN)
17. Manual driving licence
18. You must be over the age of 25 years for insurance purposes
19. At least 1-year experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred (references required)
20. You will be required to use ratchet straps, knowledge of this is a must!
21. No more than 1 hour commute for you to travel to work
22. Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
23. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
24. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
