This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative finance team during a period of transition, with the potential for the role to become permanent. Key Responsibilities Posting payroll costs into journals Journal entries including bank and credit card transactions Invoice processing and manual invoicing for specific candidates Salary sacrifice postings Asset register checks and reporting Reconciliations of purchase orders Month-end support including accruals and prepayments Bad debt provision and depreciation entries Aged debt reporting and analysis Additional ad hoc journal entries as required Skills Required Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role Solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end processes Confidence using Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Availability to start within the next few weeks On Offer Generous holiday allowance: 30 days including public holidays Hybrid working: Office-based Tuesday to Thursday, remote Monday and Friday Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunity to join a well-established business with potential for a permanent role If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
