This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small, specialised team, forming part of the wider Medical & Dental Workforce team which comprises of several functions. As a Medical & Dental HR Advisor you will be responsiblefor supporting the Medical & Dental HR Manager in provision of acomprehensive service to all Medical & Dental staff.
This role is full time, Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
The post will offer an opportunity to expand on previous HRexperience/knowledge by being the first point of contact for all Medical &Dental HR related queries. The role includes, but is not limited to, provisionof advice and guidance relating to contractual issues, terms and conditions,employment law, and workforce planning. The successful applicant willdemonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be ableto liaise with staff at all levels using a compassionate and diplomaticapproach.

Knowledge
* Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Knowledge of good practice and legislation regarding equality and diversity.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* Knowledge of all Medical and Dental terms and conditions
Experience
* Ability to deal with sensitive situations involving conflict and diplomacy
* Able to demonstrate an awareness of an organisations political agenda
* Ability to manage priorities and personal workloads and meet deadlines
* Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with managers and staff at all levels both verbally and in writing

Qualifications
* CIPD qualified (part qualified would be considered) or equivalent experience.
