Crimond, Fraserburgh.

Within this role you'll support the Netherton Hub project in accordance with customer and stakeholder requirements and commitments, including verification activities to demonstrate compliance against Balfour Beatty requirements, external accreditations and industry good practice.


What you'll be doing

* Support and coordinate project teams in developing the quality plans / inspection & test plans and ensure these are followed and requirements are met
* Provide advice, coach and assist delivery teams in achieving required deliverables, and manage issues as required; provide Quality advice to our supply chain where appropriate
* Support the Netherton Hub delivery team in implementing and using appropriate digital systems to monitor quality planning / production of quality deliverables / management of issues against targets
* Using the principles of quality assurance, and where appropriate technical integrity, ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and that quality control mechanisms provide assurance that the asset and/or service delivers as designed/required
* Ensure the development, maintenance and application of appropriate content for the BMS to meet business needs while aligning with Company requirements
* Drive quality metrics and monitoring and reporting on the Netherton Hub Project performance relating to Quality; agree and monitor management actions to drive performance improvements
* Support the annual audit programme, carrying out local and supplier audits in line with objectives, and supporting contracts with BB and external certification audits
* Coordinate with others to produce project and/or business quality deliverables as required
* Support the development of project or business stream quality strategies and plans and the delivery and implementation of measurement frameworks, programmes and actions across the scope of services and full project lifecycle
* Assist in training, coaching and developing quality skills in business / project streams, including sharing lessons learned
* Support the establishment of a continual improvement culture
* Support investigations and/or reporting on quality related issues as required
* Support the use of appropriate digital toolset to support project governance and quality assurance/ measures on the project, including training of those tools


Who we're looking for

* An understanding and commitment to Quality Management
* Experience in the Civils and Build environment including working with SSEN as a customer
* Coaching skills
* ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor trained
* Experience in driving business improvement and leading change within a business
* Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts
* Can work to plans, programmes and budgets
* Pays attention to detail and follows through to completion
* Good at building relationships and able to influence effectively
* Ability to deliver reports orally and in writing in an objective manner
* Ability to challenge existing methods and ways of thinking
* Able to work within a multi-discipline team
* Fully proficient in modern office computer systems and technology (Office 365, SharePoint, Power BI)
* A CQI Chartered Member (or actively working towards Chartered status)
