Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, customer‑focused Optical Assistant for our Hessle store. The role involves dispensing optical products up to multifocal and providing outstanding customer service while representing the Specsavers brand.
What’s on Offer
* Full‑time, 42 hours per week including one weekend day
* Starting pay of £13.50 per hour, based on experience (pro‑rata for part‑time)

Qualifications & Experience
* Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant
* Level 3 qualification or equivalent
* Passion for excellent customer service and teamwork
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Good initiative and confidence using IT systems
* Willingness to step out of comfort zone and embrace development
* Ability to receive feedback openly and adapt to guidance
Desirable Experience
* Fast‑paced customer service optics environment
* Optics or audiology business experience
* Basic knowledge of optical and/or audiology terminology
