Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Manager role based in Durham. The Maintenance Manager will oversee and ensure the daily operations of maintenance and repair tasks within the hotel. Responsibilities include managing preventive maintenance schedules, supervising maintenance staff, diagnosing and addressing equipment-related issues, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining operational efficiency. The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in creating a well-maintained, safe, and comfortable environment for guests and staff alike.
Qualifications
* Strong Supervisory Skills to effectively lead and manage a team
* Proficiency in Maintenance Management and strategic planning of maintenance activities
* Experience in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
* Knowledge and hands-on ability in Maintenance & Repair tasks
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* Background in hospitality or facilities management is a plus
* Relevant certifications in maintenance or building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are beneficial
