Job Description
Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is recruiting a Supply Quality Engineer to work at our customer's site on a contract basis.
The Supply Quality Engineer (SQE) works within the Performance and Improvement function, responsible for verifying products and documentation, and final product release from manufacturing units and external supply chains. This role may involve significant travel (mainly domestic) and overnight stays of up to 4-5 days per week.
You will collaborate with our Design Authority, Manufacturing Engineers, Supply Chain Planners, and Buyers to ensure manufacturing meets product and purchase order requirements. The SQE will also interact extensively with our customers during project execution.

As an SQE, you will act as the Independent Acceptance Authority, ensuring contractual, customer, and regulatory compliance, including:
* Operating as the Acceptance Authority for all supplied products and services.
* Conducting surveillance during manufacturing and upon completion.
* Identifying and addressing non-conformances in manufacturing facilities or suppliers.
* Participating in pre-contract reviews to ensure understanding of purchase requirements and plan surveillance based on risk.
Additionally, you will:
* Identify and escalate suppliers not meeting quality expectations by monitoring 'right first time' data.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by coaching team members on quality requirements.
Candidate Profile
Who we’re looking for:
* Degree in Engineering preferred, or ONC/HNC with substantial quality experience.
* Experience in the Nuclear Industry is preferred.
* Knowledge of submarine processes, products, and documentation is advantageous, but experience with various manufacturing processes is also valued.
* Understanding of Nuclear Standards and Specifications.
* Experience with ISO9001 and root cause analysis is beneficial.
