Maritime Safety Engineer
Various locations - Bristol, Plymouth, Cardiff, Portsmouth, Falmouth & Liverpool)
Paying between £55,000 -£75,000 (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
Circa 4+ years working in UK defense surface ships. Consideration will be given to both those with previous consultancy experience and those direct from a suitable Forces role.
Detailed working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including DSA02-DMR and Def Stan 00-056,
Proven track record in managing and delivering technical projects and/ or multiple concurrent technical projects,
Proven track record in successfully delivering bids.
Successful track record in providing Business development support, liaising with stakeholders and clients
Required Skillset:
Proven and recent experience of undertaking detailed hazard and risk analysis utilizing such techniques as SWIFT, HAZOP, FMECA, FTA, LOPA, etc.
Experience in working with autonomous platforms.
Proven track record in developing and maintaining successful client relationships, securing enduring workstreams.
Experience in staff management
Degree qualified.
Chartered engineer, Member of a relevant professional institution.
